ABOUT
ABOUT ME
In 1995 at a hospital in Chicago, I was brought into this world and the arms of my loving mother and father. I graduated Stoughton High School four years after moving to Madison in 2010 and soon began pursuing my degree, and my dreams, here at Madison Area Technical College. I will continue my education to be a Graphic Novelist in Milwaukee sometime next year.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I have graduated from Stoughton High School, and am currently wrapping up my last semester of the Graphic Design and Illustration program offered at Madison Area Technical College. I have even been published in a literary magazine and received recognitions and honors for my grades in college, making the Dean's List last summer, a title I still carry with immense pride.
WHAT I DO
I illustrate and write comics, develop characters, and write poetry and short stories in my free time, for school, and the occasional commission. I create fantasy works that abound with imagination and burst with character and charm. In the meantime, I provide for myself by working at Culver's in Stoughton as a Dining Area Specialist and Front Closer.
PORTFOLIO
Some of my favorite pieces of mine.
A redesign of the website used by Shamrock Bar and Grille in Madison. The theming for this project was "Bonding Together", inspired by celtic knots and the bonds of friendship that bind people together.
A sample of a promotional comic I made for a potential redesign of Pizza Pit. It stars "Pete the Pit Fiend" as a mascot tempting a desperately hungry young man.
A digital illustration of an old character of mine, Poppyseed. This young mage specializes in casting lightning magic. The staff he holds bears the name of his grandfather, Arceon.
The finalized logo for a fictional Coffee Roastery. It takes inspiration from music and coffee rings.
Tasked with transforming a classmate of ours into a random animal, my partner was turned into a llama. The left is colored with watercolors, the right with markers and artist pens.
Branding exercise for a fictional studio. The logo is a favorite design of mine, along with the colors.
A digital illustration focusing on perspective and lighting. This picture shows the process from sketch, to lineart, to shading, to flat colors, and finally all of them together with textures and filters.
A picture from my photography class I was proud of. I later went on to use the lighting effect from this picture in my Treehouse illustration.
A project with a very personal touch. I am very good friends with the artist known as Chromadrift, and this album cover was done for his album "Awake and Dreaming".
